We’re really looking forward to welcoming you and your child to One to One Tutoring for their trial lesson! When you arrive, you’ll be met by Rhi who will help your child feel settled and comfortable.

Rhi is a dedicated and passionate teacher with a joint Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish Language. With a genuine love of learning, she is committed to helping young people build confidence, develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Rhi specialises in English, non-verbal reasoning, spatial reasoning and problem-solving, supporting young people to think critically, approach challenges creatively and believe in their own abilities As someone with ADHD herself, she brings personal insight and understanding of neurodivergence, alongside experience supporting learners with a range of additional needs. Rhi is passionate about helping every young person feel valued, capable and confident in their learning journey.

The trial lesson is not a formal assessment. It’s simply an opportunity for us to get to know your child, and for you and your child to get to know us and experience how our lessons work.

During the session, we’ll work with your child to identify their strengths and areas of challenge and begin helping them develop greater confidence. The lesson will be designed around your child and the information you have shared with us. As we get to know them better, we’ll tailor future lessons to their individual needs, interests, likes and strengths.

Please bring a drink with you. If your child is likely to get hungry, you’re also welcome to bring a small, healthy snack.

At the end of the session, Rhi will provide some general feedback, and Chris will then be in touch with you to discuss your child’s experience and possible next steps.
