Y5 11+ Week Commencing 5th January 2026 (week 3 of 6)

Happy New Year! I hope your festive break was full of cheer and that you were able to enjoy some well-deserved rest.

As we enter the new term, we would like to remind parents of the importance of supporting your child by ensuring they attend their weekly sessions, complete their homework (including watching our weekly learning video before the lesson), and, where possible, attend our additional focus lessons, workshops, mock tests etc. Ultimately, we are here to help.

The 11+ test is now just nine months away, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the time will pass. Consistent attendance and regular practice during this period can make a real difference to your child’s confidence and progress.

If you have any concerns or feel that your child may need additional support in a particular area, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We are always happy to help.

Can I please remind you that the car park consists of allocated spaces only and should not be used for pick-up and drop-off. Due to the current adverse weather conditions, the car park is very icy, so we kindly ask that you do not park on site at this time. The car park will be coned off for safety reasons. Please drive / walk carefully.

If your child has any upcoming events that mean they cannot attend their usual session this week, please let us know as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate them in a different session. However, with many of our sessions already full, changes depend on available physical space, not adult-to-child ratios. A quick reminder: classes run Monday through Saturday.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to a positive and productive term ahead.

Chris, Nic and the team
